At Great Sampford we place great value on the importance of working together with both parents and the local and wider community to benefit our children's educational provision. We run a wide variety of after school clubs to develop the children's interests in learning beyond the class taught curriculum; these are explained in more detail under Clubs in the Menu.

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a vital element of our school and helps fund many important areas of learning. They also provide a range of fun activities specifically focussing on the children such as discos and film nights.

We work with a range of people and groups in our local community and encourage their support to help enhance our children's wider knowledge of the world. These include the two churches in the village, the Village Hall community and the local Youth Club.
