Children experience languages by speaking, listening, reading and writing them.

Children in Key Stage 2 are taught Spanish.

Phrases and key words from languages around the world are introduced to the whole school to raise awareness and promote diversity. Generally they are taught when they are studying a specific topic such as Mandarin during the China topic in Key Stage 1.
