Children in EYFS are taught through ‘understanding of the world’ and is closely linked to topics.

Weekly science lessons are taught in KS1and KS2 where children; are encouraged to work scientifically, ask questions, make observations, perform tests, identify and classify, using observations and ideas to suggest answers to questions, gather and record data.

The Science curriculum is enhanced by visitors and trips, resources from topic boxes as well as those borrowed from Secondary schools and use of the outdoor environment.
