This week we have had an artist visit the school. She has spent time in every class and helped us to create an amazing banner to put in the school hall.
This week the children have been studying the poems of Cornish poet Charles Causley. These poems have ranged from ghost stories, to comedies and poems dealing with ethical issues. The children have brought the poems to life through performance and have written a number of different pieces including: formal letters, narratives and detailed comprehension answers.
As a special Christmas treat, the Year 6 children enjoyed a spectacular performance of The Night Before Christmas at the Saffron Hall.
Class 1 and Class 3 worked together to complete a range of questionnaires.
Thank you also for your generosity in supporting the EYFS ‘Rainbow Day’. In total they managed to raise £225.45.
