Marking at Great Sampford is minimal to reduce teacher workload.

All work will be acknowledged by the teacher and verbal feedback is given in the majority of lessons. Longer pieces of writing can be marked in depth by the teacher to support the editing process. Maths questions will be marked at correct or incorrect.

By using minimal marking it ensures that more time can be spent with the children in the lessons and misconceptions addressed as soon as possible.
