Travelling Back in Time!

Class 3 were transported back in time today to a Victorian ‘gaol’ where they explored a variety of creative Victorian punishments.  They took part in a selection of 5 minute activities where they were expected to be absolutely silent and sent to solitary confinement if they did not follow this rule! They experienced chapel as well as different types of hard labour: the Shot-Drill, Tread Wheel, Picking Oakum and the Crank.  They all agreed that they are glad they do not live in the Victorian period!
